As you know I am no makeup artist, nor am I trying to be, but I am like many ladies out there completely obsessed with makeup

And the way your skin look is the most important to me… It needs to look flawless, healthy, moisturized, so something that looks good and natural- asking for a lot I know. Also, we would expect our foundation to last all day.

So I’ve been trying a lot of foundations throughout my life.

Now the obvious tip I’d give no matter what foundation you are using, even the fanciest, most expensive foundation – Moisturize your skin as much as possible:

• day moisturizer
• oils
• primers 

I use them all … so that my skin is beautiful and nourished constantly. That’s also good because when occasonially I do not wear makeup my skin still looks healthy.

I’ve used foundations from Mac Cosmetics, to Giorgio Armani, Ysl, Dior, Maybelline, Inglot … Soooo many I can’t even remember them all.

My favorite one for many years has been Giorgio Armani (luminous silk). it is light, has a beautiful range of colors, it is buildable – I really liked that one a lot.

Now like any make-up obsessed ladies out there I had to try the Huda Beauty fauxfilter foundation

Why do I love it so much you may wonder … many foundations out there? why is this one so speciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal

There’s obvious marketing hype around Huda Kattan, she is a queen on Instagram.

The color range is insane, she’s thought of every possible skin tone out there, and that’s just awesome.

I have olive skin obviously, but even for just my skin tone, there were a  few options for me.

It is a FULL coverage foundation, so anything that you need hidden, this will do the job, and a good one at that!
